Characteristics of Teardrop Pallet Racking
1. The Speedlock teardrop pallet racking system is the most economical and efficient system to store pallets and bulk merchandise. It can maximize the utilization of storage space in your warehouse and thus help you save storage costs.
2. Our teardrop pallet racking can meet various storage needs and can be used to store standard pallets, narrow aisle standard articles, carpets, columnar materials, cable reels, retail articles, picking tools and so forth.
3. The Speedlock teardrop pallet racking series has all the advantages of closed tube design and is compatible with other teardrop patterns.
4. Whilst designing the teardrop pallet racking, we have retained the existing storage facilities and beams, as well as developed a new rack system with strengthened anti-torque capability. Meanwhile, newly designed Speedlock beams also fit most existing uprights.

About the Upright Column of Teardrop Pallet Racking
The upright columns of teardrop pallet racking are made of 14 or 16 gauge steel and consist of horizontal bracing, diagonal bracing and standard baseplates.
Our teardrop pallet racking can be equipped with 3" width × 1-5/8" thickness × 15 gauge steel upright columns with 5,000 lbs capacity, 3" × 3" × 15 gauge steel upright columns with 19,980 lb capacity, 3" × 3" × 14 gauge steel upright columns with 24,540 lb capacity or 3" × 3" × 12 gauge steel upright columns with 30,000 lb capacity. Bearing capacity is based on the beam layers spaced every 48".
Our heavy duty upright column has greater resistance to forklift truck damage.
The standard color of an upright column is green or saffron yellow.
Upright frames are composed of two columns which are joined together by horizontal and diagonal bracing.
Our teardrop pallet racking is produced in accordance with RMI (Rack Manufacturers Institute) specifications.

Step Beam
The step beam of the teardrop pallet racking is made of 14Ga or 16Ga tubular steel and comes with an automatic safety lock which can prevent the beam from sliding.
Angle welding can increase the rigidity and endurance of the beam.
The orange beam can help a forklift driver distinguish the number of beam layers easily when operating at great heights.

Safety Lock
Each beam is equipped with steel safety locks to ensure that the beam is correctly positioned and that it will not slide accidentally. Safety locks are fixed to the beam connector when the teardrop pallet racking is packaged.
